It was on a major tourist beach in Tunisia. There are so few visitors at the moment, this was someone's attempt to keep things clean for when they come.

Poignant. Really, what a pity there's so much of this around.
I look at that and think, what could I make with those? Could I plant something in them or find a use for them. I hate to see stuff lying about firstly because its an eyesore but mostly because I try to find a second use for everything.
The thing that first came in my head on seeing your pic was that I wouldn't like to step on that lot. I am a right clumsy mare, and I know that I'd be casually wandering along, immersed in the sea, and I'd step bare foot on it. Its a shame people don't think before abusing the lovely surroundings we have.
