In a bun dance

If I'm going to get something, I usually get it in spades - luck (both kinds), children, clutter, dirty laundry, bright ideas, daft ideas...

42/365 Fish face lens

February 11, 2013 By Ellen

I got a fish-eye lens for my phone camera and Boy Two is making the face he considers most appropriate.

Its main effect is to make my house look like a Hobbit house but it’s quite fun. Perhaps I it’s just because it’s a cheap one and I should have shelled out a bit more.

One of the side effects of this picture every day business is that I’m taking more photos on the phone – idleness probably – and finding that actually they can be quite good. Probably not technically marvellous, but certainly good enough to tell a story.

The lenses thing I heard about when Becky and Tom from Ar-Blog gave a workshop on photography for blog at a Tots100 Blog Camp in Manchester last year and Tom enthused about what you could do with a humble iPhone (oxymoron, I know).
