Sometimes you’re just lucky. And we were this weekend with our walk. I couldn’t decide which picture I like best, so you’re getting them all.
Much as the sunshine is wonderful and uplifting, I can’t help noticing how dry and parched the grass is and how few green shoots there are yet…

Possibly the one with the steamer about to arrive at the pier would probably be my choice from a fabulous bunch – the hills behind are almost alpine. You are right that the land is dry and “dead” but hopefully spring will soon arrive ………… Love to all xx I don't intend to be annonymous – am really Auntie Mary

Beautiful photography – is that Lake Ullswater, The Lake District? That's my favourite lake – it's simply stunning!

I wanted to argue with your Auntie Mary about a different favourite but couldn't decide either – they're all glorious and thank you very much for sharing them all. Those ripples in the water are simply stunning. 🙂
