| My brother’s back |
Boy Two is returned from his scout camp, where he had a whale of a time. His little brother hasn’t left his side since he got back, despite the rather unappetising niff.
Apparently he won a prize for being the tidiest scout in the camp. I’m very proud of him for this achievement, but somewhat astonished.
His bedroom is a vile and shadowy hinterland full of heaps of mysterious malodorous stuff and other things that aren’t very nice. I’ve tried bribery, threats and constant reminders, but I have consistently failed to persuade him that a tidy room would be nice.
In fact, I’d largely given up trying. However, he’s blown that now – I know that he can do tidy, prize winning tidy.
Can you imagine what the other scout's bedrooms are like then!

I hate sending ours up there to get grumpy and tired and argue for 3 hours over tidying – and then find they've just shoved everything under the bed anyway!
