Leanne shoe from Hotter |
Winter went on for so flipping long this year, that it was impossible to imagine baring even wrists and necks, let alone toes and heels.
So when it came to picking my Hotter indulgence for this season I couldn’t bring myself to choose one that exposed any flesh. There was snow on the ground for goodness sake.
A few weeks have past and, while spring is doing a show of having sprung, it’s hardly toasty. My daily drive gives me a view of Ben Lomond and there are still slivers of snow in the shaded valleys.
So the choice, when it came to it, was quite easy.
I sometimes find the bit between boots and sandals a bit troublesome. My ideal situation is snow to blazing heat within two days.
However, it’s clear that’s not going to happen this year. Psychologically boots and fleeces need set aside, but tender little tootsies are far too scared of the chill to get naked.
Shoes from Bootbomb, must be the answer. And the Leanne appears to be the very thing.
Not too trainery, comfy enough to wear all week – perfect.
They come in a wide fit so don’t do that bulgy at the foot knuckle thing some shoes do. The insole is removable to wash.
I’ve worn them more or less every day since I unilaterally declared the end of winter…
For an in between shoe that promises – and delivers – style and comfort buy this Leanne from Hotter. It will become your new your best friend.
After a couple of weeks’ wear, it doesn’t look as crisp as it did when it came out of the box. I sprayed the suede with protector, but there are still a few marks on the tender leather. However, it doesn’t bother me because that’s how my life goes. So if you want to wear shoes that are designed for comfort, you can try out one of those air max 1 new releases.
Flexible and friendly |
Leanne is available from Hotter for £49.
Disclosure: Hotter kindly sent me a pair of shoes to review.
