In a bun dance

If I'm going to get something, I usually get it in spades - luck (both kinds), children, clutter, dirty laundry, bright ideas, daft ideas...

237/365 Balloch to Tarbet in the sunshine

August 25, 2013 By Ellen

Lunch at Luss

Fionaoutdoors carried out some adjustments to Boy Two’s bike.

Ices at Tarbet.

Willow herb seeds filled the air.

Boy Two explains just how sore his bum is.

34 miles later .

With the Pedal for Scotland looming I thought a little practice would be wise, so Boy Two and I, with Fiona and her daughter H set off from the Lomond Shores car park and made our way along the west shore of the loch, eventually, to Tarbet.

The sun shone all day and the ups and downs almost negligible. An excellent day.

Thanks to Fiona for cycling wisdom and Haribos.

It was a fantastic day and I am really impressed with how Boy 2 and H got through the miles. Ellen, you always reach the end and never complain and I think you're fab for that. What a great way to catch up on chat and burn a few Haribo calories! PS I hope I wasn't a Cycling Bore!

It was excellent – and so relaxing to have an expert on hand!
