It must have been a good year for long legs, daddy, mummy and the kids. Now they are everywhere – hanging by one leg from things, fluttering round irritatingly and finally dying in a spider web. Did I mention it was an even better year for spiders too?

And we're told beware the wasps on the rampage this year……and a strain of super-hornets winging their way from the Continent. What we need is severe frost and snow to get rid of all these pests!! Mxx
