I got the slow cooker out of the cupboard today. I know the food is easy, healthy and delicious. And a slow cooker is an energy efficient way of cooking.
Previously I’ve tried and ended up bunging the thing back behind the stuff we hardly use. Somehow putting raw food into a crock pot and taking a cooked meal out a few hours later wasn’t enough.
I suspect I was simply in a culinary huff because this transformation could happen without my help. All I need to do is shove the ingredients in and remember to switch the cooker on.
Now I need some inspiration to get over my supper time sulks. What’s your favourite slow cooker recipe?
