Way back in the school holidays, we were sent some school shirts by Trutex for one of the Boys to put through its paces. Boy One has been wearing his Trutex non-iron shirts for half a term and here’s how they look:
Despite Boy One’s best efforts with paint in art and tomato soup at any time of the day, the shirts still look crisp and white and really need no ironing. Other school uniform shirts from the supermarkets are already looking grey and limp, but the Trutex ones are going strong. I wonder if they do them in Panther sizes.
Elsewhere, Boy Three got sent a copy of Mr Men and Little Miss magazine to review. Previously I’ve been a bit ‘meh’ about the Mr Men books having read some of them about a millionty times over the years. However, I’m impressed by the mag – it certainly kept Boy Three happy for a long time. He was busy with the stickers and the colouring as well as getting his big brothers to read the stories.
The ‘free’ toys too are less rubbish than your usual magazine fayre. It sells for £3.50 and is value for money compared to some of the other kids’ mags.
We were sent these items to review.
