Who am I to tell you what you should do? I have no business reminding you about the transience of life. Of course you already know that the only plan worth drawing is the one that tells you to seize the day.
I’m tempted though. After all, when a helicopter plunges through the roof of a busy pub – one you could have been in, but weren’t – the urge to find something meaningful is strong. Surely, we can learn a truth to make the world a better place. It can’t just be a hideously random accident, can it?
My thoughts are with those whose plans for Friday went badly wrong.
My plans, however, are to appreciate my family with refreshed enthusiasm and to greet each day with energy and gratitude… But then we all know how likely plans are to turn out.
