Aren’t these amazing? These boots are made for, if not walking, something pretty serious. And at the very least, they’re going to stop the wearer from blowing away.
The wearer in question is my sometime colleague at STV, Laura Boyd. Laura always manages to look amazing. She tells me that at home she slobs about in PJs, but I don’t believe her.
One thing Laura isn’t is scary, she just has some properly kick-ass footwear.

There is a theory that says you dress for your occasion from the bottom up. Make your shoes set your intention and the rest of the outfit will follow. Though it’s possible I made that up.
Perhaps it’s time I spent fewer days setting my intention for comfort.
Very fierce shoes. But the ones which scare me most are the 6in heels worn by tiny girls with feet that barely make it to a size 2. In 6in heels, their feet are practically vertical.
