We took dozens of photos to get the one he was satisfied with. “Shut your eyes. Arm down. Look sleepy. No smiling. Over there, no. There.”
He’s very clear about what he wants. Exactly.
And I admire his certainty – life would be so simple if the goals were that obvious.
For example, the Panther of News was looking for some clues about what I might like for Christmas.
Easy peasy. I’d like… Erm… Eh.
Actually, I think, maybe PJs… Cosy and warm. Perhaps smelly stuff for a long luxurious bath. How about any of those books I’d love to get lost in. Scarves for long walks.
But even that’s not really it.
I know. What I really want is the time to wear snugly stuff, go for walks or wallow in hot water. I wonder if there’s any left in the shops. No. Too late. Never mind, a pair of socks and some perfume would be splendid.
