It really has felt like the rain never stopped and the sky never darkened. At the time I never feel like I’m affected by the weather, but really I must be.
Consequently 2014 got off to a bit of a bleurgh start, all gloomy for no good reason. Apart from the rain and the Panther’s fractured ankle.
However, that all changed today. I went for a much-needed walk with my friends Fionaoutdoors and Debbie. We walked around Mugdog for a couple of hours.
Now I feel quite ready for the year ahead…
The replenishing powers of blue skies and good company can’t be overstated. So I won’t consider it skiving off, it was much more like therapy.
