In a bun dance

If I'm going to get something, I usually get it in spades - luck (both kinds), children, clutter, dirty laundry, bright ideas, daft ideas...

Postcards from the hedge

September 18, 2018 By Ellen

Between the frothy sea edge and the jaunty awning of the cafe, there are people. Hot, flat people in tidy rows. Roasting and snoozing. Close enough to smell them but shut my eyes and I’m all alone.

That’s when the idea struck me. Too lizardy idle to take a photo, could I just think about how it looked? Would that do?

Could I Instagram something without actually faffing about and taking the picture and fiddling with filters? And if I did, what would it be called? Instagrammar, Postcard, snappy shot, sentences. Insta-flam. Insta-jam, insta-spam. Whatever.

Anyhow, here’s my first effort. What do you think?
