Ok, you’ve rumbled me. I can’t get my head into writing a whole actual post – even one that doesn’t promise anything meaningful. Instead, you can have some photos.
It was barbecue time again. Very smoky and somewhat, erm, well-fired. But at least it was warm and dry.
Boy Two was the chef again. He’s a dab hand at alfresco cooking.
Then there was another warm day. This time we had a picnic in the park – Boden Boo underneath Erskine Bridge. (Yes, it really is the name of this place and not what you say when you realise that no matter how many times you try, you will never look like the people in the catalogue.)
I love this view of the bridge almost as much as the view from the bridge. The boys set about creating volcanoes and meteor strikes in the sand.
Sun still shining, but a different view this time…
Today, though, it’s cooler and damp – blustery even. I realise that it’s quite hard to capture that sunny feeling even though it was only a few days ago. Maybe it’s just me and probably accounts for my inability to pack well when I’m going somewhere with a different climate. My excuse anyway.
