In a bun dance

If I'm going to get something, I usually get it in spades - luck (both kinds), children, clutter, dirty laundry, bright ideas, daft ideas...

free writing – 100 words

March 25, 2023 By Ellen

free writing

when you finish it needs a full stop

period

how else would anyone know

and if you change your mind

you must start over again

with an exhausting capital

cant the world tell ive stopped

by the fact the words have stopped

you tell me its only to avoid confusion

in the reading classes but

you dear reader know perfectly well

that while writers block afflicts us all

its singular experience means

you don’t need an apostrophe to make it clear

write what you like they say but

there are rules you know and you

ignore them at your peril
