Still working my way through #NaBloPoMo and now at the halfway point. Hurrah. Today’s prompt from Vonnie is: Which was the best year of your life (so far)?
I’ve thought about this all day. Could It be the year my children were born – 1999, 2002 and 2009? The year the Panther and I got married (2006)? The years of freedom and travelling (1996/7)? My first newspaper job (1994)? The year I wrote my first book (2011)? (Ok, my only book… so far)
Only I can’t pin it down. Life’s so up and down, just as it ought to be. And if the realisation that you were actually living the very best bit happened while you were still living it, how awful would that be for every day that follows.
So I won’t answer Vonnie’s question – because I have to say that the best is yet to come…
