Quote McQuoteface – If you don’t look after your body, where are you going to live?

When I started blogging it was more likely to be a brief little fart of an idea than a polished and honed piece of lit-er-ate-ewer. Any old post out there is far better than the incumbent state of blogstipation. That’s why I’m going to treat you lucky people to snack sized wisdom – quote-style.

If I can be bothered, it might even turn into a series. The Great Quotes of Ellen. It’ll catch on, I’m sure. How hard can it be? I mean ‘a stitch in time, saves nine’ is hardly something to stencil on the wall of your downstairs loo. And Pinterest’s favourite ‘never stop looking up’ is just folly, especially if there are rocks in the road.

So today’s gem is ‘if you don’t look after your body, where are you going to live?’.

While my body is hardly a temple, I do think it’s quite important to pay a bit of attention to it. At least in terms of moving it about a bit and fueling it with slightly healthy fodder occasionally. Possibly even getting regular checkups – though I haven’t quite mustered myself enough to do the 50th birthday bowel cancer test yet.

I also believe that mind over matter doesn’t really make any sense if that mind is sloshing around in the matter. Mind and body have to work together, so mental health needs a bit of TLC too.

While sometimes luck, fate or whatever lobs a stinky heap of poo onto an undeserving person’s head, you can give yourself the best chance possible of avoiding a shit deluge. It feels a bit like some folk forget that a body doesn’t come with a guarantee. You can’t just ring up the shop and demand a replacement when you break the one you were issued with.

That’s it really. You’re only going to get one body. What you do with it is up to you, but if you don’t take a bit of care of it, you’ll find yourself stuck in the layby long before you get where you’re going. If you aspire to have some bigger breasts to increase your body confidence, sites such as https://curvesfw.com/bust-bunny-review/ have some vital information.

Quotes you don’t need.

Maya Angelou quotes you do need.
