Prickly hedge
Don’t touch
Don’t get too close
Don’t look at me so I feel dirty
Don’t presume
Don’t tell me who I am
Don’t be late
Don’t make my decisions
Don’t stand me up
Don’t tell me what to think
Don’t use me for your jokes
Don’t turn your back
Don’t tell me what’s not true
Don’t decide that you know best
Don’t spend my money
Don’t call me darling
Don’t stop me from changing
Don’t steal my ideas
Don’t judge my life
Don’t sulk to get your way
Don’t put me down
Don’t let me down
Don’t hurt me
No!
I’ve been thinking a lot about boundaries and what that means to me – in the past and now. It’s a tricky subject because you have to be confident in the value of what you’re protecting to enforce good boundaries.
